Managing Your missionX Account
Your missionX account holds your global user profile, personal preferences, and communication settings. Customizing your profile ensures that your colleagues and clients see accurate contact information, titles, and localized timezones.
Personal details & profile photo
To update your personal details, open your profile drawer by clicking your avatar in the top navigation bar:
| Profile Field | Control & Behavior | Visibility Across missionX |
| Avatar Photo | Click avatar to upload or crop image | Shown on task cards, discussion comments, team schedules, and approval logs. |
| First & Last Name | Inline editable text | Formatted automatically and displayed on project reports, client invoices, and email notifications. |
| Job Title / Role | Text input | Appears in organization rosters and helps project managers allocate you to relevant project roles. |
Timezone & scheduling localization
missionX synchronizes timesheet submissions, project sprint schedules, and task due dates across distributed international teams using localized timezones:
| Feature | How missionX Handles It |
| Automatic Detection | On initial sign-in, missionX automatically resolves your local browser timezone. |
| Manual Timezone Selection | If you are traveling or working across different operational regions, you can select any global timezone from the searchable dropdown list. |
| Timesheet Accuracy | Daily and weekly timesheet lock periods adjust according to your selected timezone to prevent premature cutoffs. |
Light & Dark mode preferences
Personalize your interface styling with one-click theme switching:
Light Mode: Clean, high-contrast daylight interface designed for standard office productivity.
Dark Mode: Reduces eye strain in low-light environments with deeply tuned dark palettes across all workboards, Gantt charts, and analytics dashboards.
Managing multiple emails & identity
You can connect multiple email addresses to your single profile:
Primary vs. Secondary Emails:
• Primary Email: The address used to sign in and receive security alerts.
• Secondary Emails: Corporate or client email addresses added to satisfy domain restrictions when joining external organization workspaces.
